Edith Jones, a main driver in the Home Creek restoration plantings project, with Brian Rance, her botanical advisor.

A 2004 Forest and Bird planting session. Most of the flax, toe toe and Carex secta that can be seen are from earlier plantings.

The magnificent vista from the circular Home Creek track, constructed in 2007 with Waiau Trust funds.

Planting working bee, 2008, with Forest and Bird - even the littlies can get involved, here putting water crystals in the hole to help plant survival on dry sites.

Looking from south side across Home Creek to car park area on right. The area had gorse bulldozed off about 3 decades ago, meaning very little soil to plant in to, so has been difficult to get plants growing in places. July 2022
