SATURDAY 24 MARCH

You will need to be reasonably fit and wear suitable footwear and clothing for a day in the mountains. Lunch will be provided.

O'Neill's Bush, Mataura Floodplain

This rare totara forest system on sand dunes is easily explored following the mown paths throughout. The large totara here is estimated to be around 300 years old.
