Funding: Biodiversity Community Grant deadline 1 May

This fund manged by the Environment Southland Biodiversity Team, is open to community groups working anywhere in Southland to enahnce and protect biodiversity. There are more details and an online apploication form on the ES website Groups need to have an MOU with the landowner and be a constituted group with a bank account.

Grants are available for up to 5 years, for up to $10,000 / year for projects targeted at protection by means of fencing, pest animal and plant control, buffer planting etc. More details from the Biodiversity Team Michael Hargraves 021 311 207 and Catriona Gower 021 400 843.
