Te Rere yellow eyed penguin reserve, Tui Nest video, Coal Country, Love in Cold Blood Tuatara film. Forest and Bird Short Films Night - world premiere of the “Te Rere yellow eyed penguin reserve story”, “Tui Nest video”, including Hawk attack by professional photographer Jason Hoskings, and short films “Coal Country” and “Love in Cold Blood” staring Invercargills famous Tuatara Henry and Mildred.

Ponds were created to improve whitebait spawning grounds. Flax was planted following pond excavation.

Te Wai Korari Wetland, Riverton

This rare totara forest system on sand dunes is easily explored following the mown paths throughout. The large totara here is estimated to be around 300 years old.
